The shape of this pipe is slightly like a tomato and 1/4 bent with a saddle bit stem.  It has tight straight grain and a nice orange brown color.  The bowl is a wider pot shaped style.  It is marked “Poppa’s” and “Imported Briar”.

A neat cutty pipe with a new replacement stem.  It is marked “The Guildhall” over “London Made” and on the right side of the shank marked”Made In London” in a circle over “England”  with “92″ shape number to the right of that.

A smaller bowled pipe which would be excellent for flake tobaccos.  It has cross grain that mostly stands out on the rim of the bowl.  The left side has bird’s eye grain whereas the right side has a bald spot in the briar, which is less tightly grained wood where no pattern is discernible.

This is what seems to be an unfinished Comoy’s pipe.  It has no stamping on the left side of the shank but has the “football” stamping of “Made In England” on the right side of the shank.  On the stem there is a circle drilled out replaced with a black plug.  The grain is straight and resembles that of a Comoy.  Stunning in appearance, this pipe is sure to also be an excellent smoker!

A slim long stemmed billiard pipe that exhibits straight grain is an exceptional example of what Yellow Bole and the KBB company used to be.  The markings are KBB in the clover leaf with “Yellow Bole” to the right of that.  On the opposite side of the shank is “2829″ corresponding to the 29 shape number and 28 for the line of pipe and finish.  This pipe dates to around the same four digit period of Kaywoodies but even slightly earlier than that.  I would say it is from around 1925 – 1931.  The stem has a push tenon without any “system” in it.

This is a late 1920′s four digit Kaywoodie with a push tenon made for the export market for England and Europe.  It is stamped “Kaywoodie” over “Imported Briar” and on the other side of the shank stamped “8780B”.  If you are into Kaywoodies or just want to smoke one of those really old briars but do not like the drinkless system, or what people refer to as stingers, then here is your chance to smoke one with a push tenon!

An affordable smooth pipe with cross grain and a nice silver band.  The bowl is deep and widens towards the bottom like the inverse of what a dublin bowl would do.  It contains the original vulcanite stem.

There is a straight grain pattern coming out from the sandblast with a reddish brown stain.  It has a smooth top and a saddle bit vulcanite stem.

This is a wonderfully grained Kaywoodie Connoisseur that is new and has never been smoked!  It is the shape number 13 dublin.  This is a rare piece and condition for this 1950′s piece of tobacciana treasure.

A beautiful sandblast pipe with the grain accentuated at the heel of the bowl.  It has a slender push mount vulcanite stem.  The dark brown stain leads up to a lighter brownish red to the top of the smooth rim of the bowl.  The markings on the bottom of the shank are “Stanwell” over the shape number “27″ with “”HAND MADE IN DENMARK” to the right of that.
